If you have registered an e-mail address with us we will alert you to changes to the LGPS and topical pension issues as they arise.
Each year we will send you a statement showing you an estimate of your benefits. Your statement will also include information about the changes to the LGPS, topical pension issues, a summary of the accounts and a general review of the fund's progress.
Many employers in the Fund run pre-retirement courses for employees approaching retirement to help plan for the financial and lifestyle issues surrounding retirement. Representatives from the Pensions Section can attend these seminars on request by employers.

We send you a payslip every month.
In the future, it is intended to offer pensioners the option to view payslips online.
A P60 is a certificate showing the pension paid and the tax deducted during the previous tax year.

Your pension is paid monthly in arrears on the 15th of each month or on the last banking day immediately preceding where the 15th falls at a weekend or bank holiday.
It is paid directly into your bank or building society account by BACS (Bank Automated Clearing System).
